Reaching people through food
The BaRI (Blairgowrie & Rattray Initiative) Food Project consists of the following activities:
- BaRI Food Store
- Saturday Lunch Club
- Wednesday Lunch Club
- BaRI Meals
We collect surplus food from the supermarkets each day. Where possible, the food is used to make soup, cakes, meals and stock the BaRI Store 4 times a week.
These activities enable us to reach people through food whilst also reducing over 100 tonnes of good food from going to landfill every year.
