The object of the Club is to promote social contact and wellbeing, to encourage interest and offer the opportunity for companionship among members. In addition to the regular speaker meetings, we have three small sub-groups who have specific interests, namely Computing, Golf and Walking.

We meet locally and regularly from September to June on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10.00am for tea/coffee followed by the meeting at 10.45am when we are entertained by a speaker at each meeting on a wide range of subjects. We also meet informally for coffee on the 4th Wednesday of each month.

Our speaker will be Luisa Laird from the charity Pickups for Peace which delivers four-wheel-drive vehicles and life-saving aid directly to communities across Ukraine. If you are new to the area or perhaps are just interested to find out more about Probus and what it has to offer in the way of interest, wellbeing and companionship, you are very welcome to join us.
