Overview
Family history resources and research

Whether your family roots lie in Blairgowrie or further afield, the Blairgowrie, Rattray and District Genealogy Centre Volunteers will be happy to help. We can offer access to a range of family history resources such as: Census Returns 1841 – 1921, Old Parish Registers, Cemetery Records and Headstone Inscriptions, The Ancestry Institution, Records on the Scotland’s People Website (regular charges apply), and back copies of the Blairgowrie Advertiser.

Come in and see us at Blairgowrie Library any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.00pm (alternative times can be booked by prior arrangement).

We are a voluntary service and make no charges, although donations are always welcome to help with research costs.
