Tracie left Scotland to live in Lancashire when she was very young (hence the English accent), and then returned to Blairgowrie in 2010; the home town of her parents and where many of her extended family still live. After twenty nine years in banking as a cashier, branch manager, trainer and latterly web developer, she was made redundant. Whilst not planning to, Tracie then became self-employed, starting a new business partnership and Social Enterprise called Nest. This business provides a range of creative spaces for rent, hosts workshops and has its own craft remnant shop. Tracie also runs her own craft business TED Creative, making and teaching all things concerned with Crochet and more. She is a great supporter of the town and particularly the local creative talent. Tracie joined the Trust in 2018 to help support groups and individuals with their own creative projects and identify opportunities for project collaborations.
