Blairgowrie Public Toilets

Managed by 'the Loo Crew'

A dedicated team of volunteers, affectionately known as 'The Loo Crew', stepped up when PKC announced they were closing the public toilets. As a result, the toilets remain open from 8am to 3.30pm every day apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Working with BRDT, a management team ensure the proper running of the toilets monitoring a rota to open the toilets every morning and ensuring an adequate supply of consumables is available. The toilets are cleaned daily by local self-employed cleaners who keep them sparkling.

We are extremely grateful to the following local businesses:

  • Castle Water - who donate £5,000 per year towards running costs
  • Graham Environmental and Fire Protection who provide their services for free
  • Stagecoach who provide our consumables

We accept cash donations via 2 tins attached to the walls as well as online payments and we have several locals who donate regularly towards the running costs.
